Description

Inspired by the natural strata of the earth, this pourer is as much a piece of art as it is a functional vessel. Three distinct zones of character emerge across its cylindrical form: a raw, speckled crème matte glaze at the crown, giving way to a band of exposed terracotta clay in its most honest, unglazed state, before deepening into a rich, moody reactive blue at the base.

The small pinched spout, understated and precise, adds a sculptural touch that feels both primitive and considered. Use it to pour a slow cold brew, a measured cream, or a thoughtful dressing, and watch it become the quiet centrepiece of any table it sits on.

Samiksha Borikar

FROM BENGALURU, INDIA

Four years into the art of pottery, Samiksha has self-taught herself and experimented with the art form to grow and evolve. Her brand, Atoki Studio roughly translates to A - TOKI - STUDIO where ‘toki’ means pottery in Japanese. The aesthetic is simple and minimal with a modern touch. She explores many Japanese pottery techniques, especially ‘kurinuki’ (a carving technique), and sticks to a muted color palette. “Mellow earthy tones attract me in my day-to-day life.”
